WARRINGTON Town came from a goal down to win 1-3 away at Mickleover Sports to keep their promotion push on track.

The victory sees Town second in the Evo-Stik Premier Division just a point behind league leaders and title favourites Altrincham.

Mickleover, unbeaten in eight games, had taken a 35th-minute lead through Evan Garnett, with Town’s best chance coming on eight minutes when a 25 yard rocket from Tony Gray hit the crossbar.

Both teams had further chances but it was Warrington who eventually took the lead when Sean Williams converted a penalty in the 66th minute. The hosts were then reduced to 10 men when Mills was sent of for a second yellow.

Gray ensured all three points for the Yellows when he scored Town’s third on 76 minutes.
