VANDALS are believed to have started a fire in Sankey Valley Park, Warrington – and police have been called in to investigate.
The blaze was near the entrance to the BMX track and involved a quantity of wood which had apparently been placed there and then set alight.
Fire crews from Warrington used a hand-held extinguisher to deal with the fire and police were informed.
