Rain fails to dampen spirits at firework displays across Warrington

VIDEO: DESPITE being a damp cold and wet night, thousands of people turned out to watch a variety of bonfire and firework displays across Warrington.

warrington-worldwide covered the Broomfields Junior School display live while other events took place across the town including the Big Lymm Kids Planet Bonfire and firework display organised by Lymm Roundtable and Winwick’s Bonfire Night Extravaganza at Winwick Leisure Centre, which included a Bucking Bronco, Hog Roast, Wipeout, Bouncy Castle, and much more.

There were also displays at Tetley Walker Club, Appleton Thorn Primary School, Gullivers World and Thelwall Parish Hall.

Meanwhile Longbarn Residents Association staged their annual firework extravaganza at the New Horisons School last night (Friday).

For those who missed tonight’s events the Jolly Falstaff at Padgate will be staging a display tomorrow (Sunday) at 6pm and Penketh Primary School are staging a firwork event on November 11th.
