Nine arrested during night of drunken violence

NINE people were arrested during the night at Warrington – mainly for drink-related offences, assault and disorderly behaviour.
A woman was arrested at Warrington Hospital around 9pm for allegedly being drunk and disorderly in the A&E department.
She was alleged to have urinated in an ambulance and then thrown a paramedic’s jacket in it.
Ten minutes later, a woman was arrested at Birchwood Forest Park for allegedly being drunk in charge of a motor vehicle.
At 10pm, two men were arrested for alleged affray after a violent incident in the Bewsey area, involving a hammer.
Shortly after 11pm, a man was arrested in the Poplars area for alleged harassment and assault and just before midnight a man was arrested on Sankey Way for an alleged assault on a taxi driver.
Just before 2am a man was arrested at Rixton for allegedly failing to provide a sample of breath. He later provided a sample of 80 in custody.
At 3.15am a man was arrested at Latchford for domestrfic assault and damage and at 5.20am a man was arrested on suspicion of going equipped to steals, drink driving and disqualified driving on Delph Lane, Winwick.
