Residents of Belong Warrington showcase gardening skills

RESIDENTS of Belong, the specialist care village in Warrington, have been sharpening their horticultural skills in the village garden.

They have been planting flowers and trees donated by international financial services provider, Forester’s Financial as part of their commitment to giving back to the local community.

Residents and staff members weeded the garden’s raised flower beds, laid fresh compost and planted new flowers, which were themed in the green and white Belong logo colours.

The garden materials were funded by international financial services provider, Forester’s Financial, who each year support hundreds of community projects and provide many opportunities for their customers to get involved to help those in need.

Kerith Pepperdine, who has recently taken over as experience co-ordinator at Belong Warrington, said: “Residents had a lovely afternoon getting involved with the transformation of our village garden. We are very grateful for all of the help and support that we received from Foresters Financial and look forward to working with them again in the future.”
