WARNING: GRAPHIC IMAGES. A Warrington woman is appealing for help to track down those responsible for inflicting horrific facial injuries on a young festival goer at Creamfields on Sunday.

Meg Duckworth, aged 22, has circulated graphic images of the young man who suffered horrific injuries to his face, which was smashed with a glass during a fight.

Meg posted on facebook :”This happened on Sunday night at Creamfields and I’m trying to help the poor lad find more witnesses than what he has!

“It happened near the taxi rank between 3pm and 5pm any information would be greatly appreciated and your name will be kept COMPLETELY CONFIDENTIAL!!!

“His injuries are horrific. His face is smashed to bits with broken bones and fractures and once the swelling has gone down he may need further surgery.

“As I’ve previously been a victim of a vicious assault I know how awful it can be it effects you physically and mentally especially when your face is broken and the fact no one has owned up to it is disgusting.

“This lad needs justice!!! Whoever did this needs to pay the price!! How can you live with yourself knowing you have done this to somebody?Someone knows who you are!!! And CCTV is being checked so come forward because you will be found out!!

“A festival is a place to enjoy yourself and the music not to cause serious harm or injury to another person. Any help or information would be great.”

Meg’s appeal went viral within a couple of hours on facebook with more than 22.5k shares.

Anyone with information should call Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident 745 of August 27 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
