WARRINGTON Collegiate has a new name following a merger with Mid Cheshire College.

The two colleges formally merged on 1 August 2017, to create Warrington & Vale Royal College, a new and stronger Further Education organisation for Warrington and Cheshire.

Warrington & Vale Royal College will offer an inclusive and high quality provision which will address the economic and skills needs of the communities that it serves.

Nichola Newton, principal and Chief Executive of Warrington & Vale Royal College, said: “I would like to thank my colleagues and external stakeholders who have worked incredibly hard to make this merger happen and I feel very privileged and proud to be the principal of Warrington & Vale Royal College.”

New branding for the college is currently being worked on.

Any one with questions about the merger or about courses for September 2017, please call 01925 494 400.
