Brad Dwyer signs for Leeds Rhinos

WARRINGTON Wolves’ hooker Brad Dwyer will leave the club at the end of the season after signing for Leeds Rhinos – with the club’s blessing.

Dwyer, 24, made his Warrington debut in March 2012, making 85 appearances including last year’s Challenge Cup Final at Wembley, off the bench. He’s crossed for 15 tries in total and holds heritage number 1100.

He’s made 21 appearances this season including the Dacia World Club Series win over Brisbane Broncos back in February.

During his time at Warrington, Dwyer also spent time on loan at Huddersfield, 2013, and London, 2015.

Karl Fitzpatrick, Wolves’ chief executive, said: “I’d like to thank Brad for his contribution to the club. He came through our youth programme and has always given 100%. However, an opportunity has presented itself for him to gain more game time.

“He will go with our blessing but before his departure I know he will be doing his all to ensure we are successful in the Qualifiers.”
