Andre Savelio signs for Brisbane Broncos

WARRINGTON Wolves’ second rower Andre Savelio will leave the club at the end of the year after signing for NRL side Brisbane Broncos from 2018.

A product of Latchford Albion, Savelio, 22, signed for Warrington ahead of the 2017 season having previously played at St Helens, debuting in 2014.

He represented England at U16s and U18s early in his career and made 42 first-grade appearances for St Helens before a spell on loan at Castleford.

He earned Warrington heritage number 1131 making his debut in February against Catalans and to date has made 17 appearances scoring five tries.

He was also part of the starting 13 who defeated Brisbane in this year’s Dacia World Club Series.
