Wizard time at Stockton Heath Festival

VIDEO: VILLAGERS had a wizard of a time at the 10th anniversary celebrations of Stockton Heath Festival.

Glorious sunshine ensured a bumper turn out on the festival field where one of the star attractions were the Harry Potter themed scarecrows created by local businesses.

Local businesman Ian Clayton, who helped co-ordinate the scarecrow competition was on hand to give an insight into the works of art, with the winning scarecrow set to be chosen tomorow (Sunday) at 4pm.

The beer tent and ice cream van were extremely busy as various activities took place, including balloon modelling.

The event continued into the evening, with various musical performances, with more activities throughout the day tomorrow, (Sunday).

Meanwhile organisers are already on the lookout for more volunteers to get involved in next year’s event.
