NETWORK Warrington will be operating a full service via diverted roads on Walking Day.
Despite a number of road closures and diversions, buses will be running to and from the interchange throughout the day on Friday.
Ben Wakerley, managing director at Network Warrington, said: “Walking Day is an important part of our town’s heritage and is a vibrant, popular event that many of us look forward to. The nature of the event does mean that some routes into Warrington will be busier than usual, with road closures and diversions in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable Walking Day for everyone.
“However, we’re pleased to confirm that our buses will still be running via diverted roads to and from the interchange throughout the day for anybody concerned about getting into Warrington.”
