A MAN was arrested in the early hours of today after allegedly knocking another man unconscious in the centre of Warrington.
The offence was alleged to have taken place outside a town centre club. Several officers were involved in the incident aat 4.30am.
It was one of a number of arrests made by police in Warrington during the night.
A man was arrested for being drunk and disorderly just before 3am. He was also alleged to have assaulted a police officer
Two other people were arrested for being drunk and disorderly – a man in Horsemarket Street and a woman in Lymm Village.
A man was also arrested on suspicion of being in possession of Class A and Class B drugs
