Two arrested after crashing car in bid to escape police

TWO males are in custody after failing to stop for police and crashing a vehicle following an incident in Warrington earlier today.

Officers from Task Force and Roads Policing were involved in the incident where a motor vehicle is alleged to have failed to stop.

The vehicle later crashed and two arrests were made by officers nearby.

There are allegations of drugs offences, Dangerous Driving and offensive weapon amongst others.

It is also alleged that the vehicle was being run on false plates. Two males remain in custody.
