Two arrested at Hood Manor with large quantity of drugs

TWO men were arrested at Hood Manor, Warrington in possession of a large quantity of heroin and crack cocaine drugs.

The males aged 31 and 21, were questioned by police on suspicion of possessing the large quantity of drugs with intent to supply.

During the arrest yesterday afternoon, one of the males attempted to escape, allegedly throwing the drugs away, but was caught after a short chase.

Police say the keen nose of Police Dog Rufus enabled him to locate the drugs.

One of the males has since been charged with possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply and is due to appear in court today.
