Summer charity night at Alder Root Golf Club

A SUMMER charity night is being held at Alder Root Golf Club to raise money for two brilliant causes on Friday July 21.

The night is being organised by friends Nicola Walker and Kelly Cook in aid of Aplastic Anaemia and North West Air Ambulance.

Their friend Laura suffers from Aplastic Anaemia. She recently featured on One Born Every Minute, where she spoke about her illness.

Aplastic Anaemia is a rare but serious acquired blood disorder, where the bone marrow fails to produce essential blood cells.

Nicola said: “We want to raise awareness and help support this charity who do brilliant work into research and supporting families affected.

“Our other friend, Kirsty, fell down a mountain and was recused by the North West Air Ambulance. Had they not been able to attend, the outcome could have been a lot worse.

“Again, we want to do all we can to help this charity continue with their great and much needed work.

The event is taking place at Alder Root Golf Club on Friday 21st July. Tickers are £25 and include bucks fizz on arrival. BBQ buffet, a goodie bag, a raffle, disco, photo booth and of course, a donation to the charities.

Tickets can be purchased by contacting Nicola or Kelly via the facebook link (Warrington fundraisers page) or email [email protected]
