POLICE at Warrington are hunting for the occupants of a car who ran off after ploughing into a property at Orford last night.

Residents were left badly shaken as the silver Golf VW collided with the wall of a property at the junction of Battersby Lane and Marsh House Lane at 9.40pm last night (Monday).

The driver and passenger fled the scene.

Local resident Claire Steele, who lives in a neighbouring property said she had been left “shaking like a leaf,” following the incident.

The vehicle was not insured and still registered with the previous owner in Stoke.

Anyone who can help should call Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 1048 of June 12th or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
