FIREFIGHTERS tackled a serious house fire at Lymm this morning.
The blaze was in Oldfield Road shortly after 9am and started in a ground floor bedroom.
Four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.
There were no reports of casualties.
Two fire engines, one from Warrington and one from Penketh, were involved in the operation.
