  1. ‘Victorian Warrington -grab a glimpse before its all gone’ tour.
First stop, the town centre library – before Culture Warrington destroys the beautiful interior and slaps a gross glass slug on the exterior.
Bridge Street – before the bulldozers move in and more ‘tasteless hulking lumps of ‘street art’ are dumped in it.
The Italian water tower, Cairo St Cabinet works & infant School before they are demolished.
Other lovely buildings – before ugly uninspiring murals make them virtually unrecognisable.
    etc.etc.etc.
Then back to the library for ‘digitised’ memories of what our beautiful town looked like not so long ago.
    Hankies provided.

    • Not forgetting the awe (or should it be oh!) inspiring hologram of the new council offices, the cost of which is will remain a state secret until all those involved are collecting their retirement pensions.
