FIREFIGHTERS helped rescue a swan trapped in fishing line at Appleton Reservoir, Warrington.
The water rescue boat from Warrington and the animal rescue team from Knutsford attended at the scene near Park Lane, Appleton, yeterday evening.
The swift water team from Warrington and the animal rescue team from Knutsford worked together and used a swan bag to secure the bird and get it on to dry land and to the care of the RSPCA.
