WARRINGTON Town have revealed eight pre-season fixture dates ahead of the 2017/18 Evo-Stik Premier League season.
Paul Carden’s men will kick-start their preparations for the new campaign with a trip to Barnton on Tuesday July 11, before making another short journey to North West Counties League side Runcorn Town.
The first game at Cantilever Park, and perhaps the stand-out game of the announced programme, will be against National League side Wrexham on Tuesday July 18.
A home game with Southport, recently relegated to National League North, is on Tuesday July 25, sandwiched between trips to Skelmersdale (Saturday July 22) and North West Counties Premier League winners Atherton Colleries (Saturday July 29).
The pre-season programme rounds off with a trip to Colne on Tuesday August 1 and a final pre-season game on Saturday August 5, with opposition yet to be confirmed.
The Evo-Stik Premier League season is due to start the following week, on Saturday August 12.
