A WARRINGTON-based firm of civil and structural engineers has been named as one of the fastest-growing companies in Europe.
ELLUC Projects Ltd, which has offices in Warrington, Leeds and Redditch, has been placed 256th in the new Financial Times 1000 list of European companies, with the strongest sales growth between 2012 and 2015.
The inaugural ranking of 1,000 companies from 24 countries was compiled by Statista, a market research company, in collaboration with the Financial Times.
The list shows that ELLUC’s revenue grew by 484 per cent in the three years analysed, with a compound annual growth rate of 80 per cent.
Founder and managing director Louis McLoughlin said: “We’re delighted to have been recognised for our exciting expansion across the north
of England and Midlands in recent years.
“We’re very proud to be seen as one of the UK’s and Europe’s fastest-growing companies and have made even more progress in the two years since this analysis.”
ELLUC Projects’ work includes a wide range of residential and commercial projects such as traditional house building, large PFI developments, prisons, schools, universities and student accommodation.
Last year alone, ELLUC worked on 35,000 residential units, 14 schools, nine commercial developments, four hotel and leisure developments, four industrial schemes, three extra care facilities, two prisons, two universities, two hospitals and two flood relief schemes.
Mr McLoughlin added: “The ELLUC team has quickly gained a strong reputation for moving fast but accurately, and always efficiently delivering just what the client requires.
“We now look forward to more fast growth in the next few years.”
