Bins set alight in woodland at Great Sankey

FIREFIGHTERS were called to woodland at Great Sankey, Warringtron, last night after three wheelie bins were found alight.
A crew from Knutsford attended the incident off Hood Lane North – local crews were involved in fighting a major blaze at Widnes.
A hosereel jet was used to extinguish the fire which is believed to have been started by vandals.
