Man arrested with knife after racially aggravated offence

A 53-year-old man arrested by Warrington police for a racially aggravated public order offence was found to be in possession of a knife.

The incident took place at Howley earlier today and the male has been kept in custody.

In another incident a male was arrested at Latchford this afternoon for a domestic related assault.

Last night a 33-year-old man was arrsted in the Poplars Hulme area of town, on suspicion on possessing Class A drugs.
