THREE pupils from Culcheth High School are organising fund raising events for their World Challenge Trip to Nepal next year.
The trip will form part of an expedition that will be helping to rebuild Nepal communities badly hit by the 2015 earthquake.
Sophie Openshaw, Cara Slattery and Lucy Upton are asking the local community to support them by helping them raise the vital funding needed to make the expedition a success.
The girls will have a stall on Culcheth Community Day on Monday May 1 selling all sorts of bric-a-brac and following this up with a quiz night at The Culcheth Village Club/Royal British Legion, Wigshaw Lane, Culcheth on Saturday May 20.
On the night, the doors will open at 7pm with the quiz starting at 8pm. The ticket price of £5 per adult or £15 per family ticket (2 adults, 2 children) includes a burger/hotdog per person.
Tickets will be available from The Culcheth Village Club, Culcheth High School and at the stall on Community Day or just email [email protected] to book a place at the quiz. Any remaining tickets will be available on the door.
