POLICE have appealed for help from the public to trace a 25-year-old mother and her 10-week-old baby who have been missing since Wednesday last week – and could be in the Warrington area.
Sophie Callaghan, who is from the Toxteth area of Liverpool, was last seen in Prescot.
Extensive enquiries have since been ongoing to locate her, and her 10 week-old baby boy.
She is of slight build with dark brown collar length hair which is normally tied up in a knot and is known to wear either black leggings or jeans with a denim jacket.
She is known to frequent the Merseyside area as well as North Wales, North Cheshire, including Warrington, and Wigan.
Police officers are making extensive efforts to find Sophie and return her home safely and would urge her, anyone who knows her whereabouts, or who has seen a woman resembling her, to call police on 0151 777 2014, the 101 number or the independent charity Missing People by calling 116 000 or by emailing [email protected].
