Unknown “hero” helps police arrest violent man

A MEMBER of the public went to the assistance of the police in arresting a violent man in Warrington town centre last night.
The man was arrested for violent behaviour – and the have-a-go hero left the scene without giving his name after helping the officer involved.
Police said today they would like to thank the unknown member of the public. A spokesman said: “Not all heroes wear capes.”
In another incident in the town centre a man was arrested for being drunk and disorderly.
