Wolves – the positive impact on Warrington

AN evening exploring the positive impact Warrington Wolves has on its home town will take place at the Warrington Campus of the University of Chester on Tuesday, March 28.
The free event entitled “A Community Business – Adding Economic, Social and Wellbeing Value to the Town” will take place in the Lance Dobson Hall from 6.30pm.
Talks will be delivered by three of the club’s most prominent figures. Steven Broomhead (pictured above at a Wolves match) is the non-executive chairman of Warrington Wolves Rugby Super League Football Club and is also a trustee of the National Football Museum.
The Wolves won the Challenge Cup in 2009 and 2010, were Super League Winners in 2011 and finalists in 2012 and 2016. They also won the League Leaders Shield in 2016.
Karl Fitzpatrick is the chief executive officer and Tony Smith is head of coaching and rugby at the club. They will also be joined by several first team players.
The Warrington Campus has a close relationship with Warrington Wolves. The university is a team sponsor and the club trains on the campus.

Tea and coffee are available from 6pm, with the lecture beginning at 6.30pm.
