Police forced to act after 100 youths descend on Lymm

POLICE had to issue a Dispersal Order  when more than 100 youths descended on Lymm village last night.

The order gave officers the power to move youngsters on following numerous complaints regarding anti-social behaviour.

It is understood that many of the youngsters had been to a local party which got out of hand after being promoted on social media.

One local resident said: “I was in the village last night and surprised by the sheer number of youths hanging around and behaving like idiots.”

Over the years there have been a number of incidents involving local youths clashing with youngsters from nearby Partington in and around Lymm Cross.
