Man’s body found near Mersey at Warrington

POLICE are investigating following the discovery of a man’s body at Warrington this morning.
The body was found on a path near to Kingsway Bridge shortly after 7.30am.
Detectives who visited the scene have concluded there are no suspicious circumstances.
The man’s next of kind are being informed and a formal indentification is expected to take place later today.
The facts are being sent to the coroner.
