RESIDENTS of Grappenhall and Thelwall are being asked to help on three litter picking days over the coming year – the first of which is on Saturday March 4.
The parish council will provide all the necessary equipment, including litter pickers, gloves, bin bags and high visibility vests.
Community litter picking days will also be held on Saturday, July 8 and Saturday October 7. All three events start at 10am and will last until 12.30om.
Parish warden Martin Stuart will work alongside volunteers to tidy the parish.
Anyone prepared to help is asked to call the council on 01925 264918 or email [email protected] – or they can just turn up at the council offices in Bellhouse Lane, Grappenhall, on the day.
