STRIKER Ciaran Kilheeney has left Warrington Town to re-join former club Droylsden on a deal until the end of next season.
Warrington Town Club Chairman, Toby Macormac, said: “Killer has been unlucky from Christmas onwards really when he picked a niggly injury he could not quite shake off and that meant training was also difficult.
“Once he returned to full training last week, and got minutes in the recent Cheshire Senior Cup fixture, we looked to get Ciaran some game minutes and also to get him to a club closer to home as his wife is experiencing a difficult pregnancy at the minute and Ciaran has been struggling with the distance of away matches, missing Workington recently as an example.
“As the two clubs discussed terms it arose that Ciaran could seal himself a longer term deal at Droylsden and it was agreed between all parties that his return there would suit all.
“Ciaran was an important part of last season for us where his goal tally sealed the all important promotion for the club and we wish him well for the future.”
Exciting changes under new manager Paul Carden have seen a host of younger players brought in to the club and they will be in action tomorrow, Saturday against Halesowen Town at the Drivers Direct Stadium (3pm).

Reunited back with deegan, where there will not be a better partnership at that level and who were both key in getting town promoted.
