Police seek handbag snatcher

POLICE have issued a CCTV image of a male they would like to question following an attempted handbag snatch from a lone female at Great Sankey, Warrington.

The incident took place On Wednesday, February 1st at 4.30pm when the lone female was walking near to the pedestrian crossing over Sankey Way on Hood Lane South, when amale attempted to snatch her handbag unsuccessfully.

The male is described as white, average build,5ft7-8, short brown hair and in his early 20’s. He made off across Sankey Way towards Hood Manor. Although thankfully the victim was not injured, it left her shaken.
