Police launch appeal after motorist robbed of car at knifepoint

POLICE are appealing for help from the public following a serious robbery at Culcheth when a motorist had his car stolen after being threatened by three men armed with a knife.

The robbery took place yesterday, Monday, February 13, between 22:00 – 22:15 hours when three unknown males confronted a male victim with a knife and demanded the keys to his vehicle after he stopped his vehicle on Cawley Avemue, Culcheth, Warrington.

The offenders made off in the grey Audi A4 reg.YN64 XJO. The offenders were described as driving a “performance blue” coloured Ford Mondeo.

Police are appealing for any information in relation to the incident to contact Cheshire police on 101 and quote incident 944 13/02/17.
