THE Warburton toll bridge road near Warrington will be closing this weekend to facilitate road surface repairs.
The B5159 Warburton Bridge Road will be closed this Saturday from 5am to 5pm. The closure will mean no access to the Warburton toll bridge.

Headline infers it’s to close as in permanent, stop competing with the gutter press in making headlines, it’s for a weekend only, hardly an inconvenience and it’s a positive closure so why not headline it ”much needed repair work to be undertaken on Warburton Bridge on a weekend”?
The headline is not much shorter than the whole short report, which confirms this is a temporary weekend closure. What’s the problem?
Headline is completely correct !! Its a local news story giving information on a temporary closure. you are wrong saying its not an inconvenience. For anyone trying to reach Lymm or Warburton the alternative route will involve many miles of diversions.
Attention grabbing headline which is 100 per cent factually correct with full information in the opening paragraph – totally satisfied with the headline and hopefully no one will get delayed now after reading the article.
