Old folk visit their own art exhibition

CARE home residents who took part in an art project in Warrington were invited to visit the exhibition their work had created.
Residents of Cheshire Grange care home and Keate House care home, Lymm, visited the “Slippers in the Rain” exhibition staged by Culture Warrington at the Pyramid arts centre, Warrington.
They had created art works drawing on their memories and life experiences, ranging from the hardship of life during World War 2 to the simple pleasures of dancing.
There was a wide range of exhibits produced by residents aged 60 to more than 90.
It is hoped the exhibition will be the first of many.
