FURTHER improvements are planned for the Lumb Brook Millennium Green, Appleton this year – including regenerating the Maze area as a play space for younger children.
Funding is being provided for the project by the Co-op Community Fund.
Julie Kueres a director and trustee of the Green said: “We were really lucky to be chosen as one of three community projects who will receive funding from this round of the Co-op Community Fund.
“Work will start in late spring and by mid – summer the area should be ready for the children to use. Updates on progress will be posted on our website – www.millenniumgreen.moonfruit.com “
The annual general meeting of the Lumb Brook Millennium Green will be held on Wednesday, February 8 at 7.30pm in St Mary Magdalene’s Church Hall, Bridge Lane, Appleton. Everyone is welcome to attend.
