POLICE have today released images of jewellery stolen in a burglary at Warrington last month.
A wide range of jewellery was taken in the raid on a house in Hollins Lane, Winwick on December 27. It is believed it occurred between 5-7pm while the occupants were out.
DC Neil Radley said: “The jewellery was sentimental and meant a lot to the victims who are distraught at losing their prized possessions.
“Some were given to them as gifts and some had been bought from places around the world.
“I would ask anyone who is offered jewellery in unusual circumstances or who recognises these pieces to contact police.”
