POLICE are investigating an arson attack on a car parked outside a house at Great Sankey, Warrington last night.
The blaze was in Grosvenor Close and a fire crew from Penketh, wearing breating apparatus, extinguished it using a hose reel jet.
They damped down the surrounding area and called in police when it was discovered the fire had been started deliberately.
It was the second case of arson involving a car in Warrington yesterday, although there is no reason to believe they are connected.
