HIGH winds resulted in a power cable being brought down at Stretton, early this morning, resulting in the closure of Stretton Road.
The cable damaged a van but there were no injuries reported.
Police closed the road from the A49 at the Cat and Lion to the Blackcap Road roundabout. The road has now re-opened.
