EMPLOYEES from Galliford Try Partnerships and Linden Homes’ North West division have been burrowing into their pockets to support Key 103 Cash for Kids Mission Christmas.

Aiming to make the festive season a happier time for disadvantaged children from across the region, staff at the Warrington division have been busy donating Christmas gifts including new toys, books and other luxuries many just cannot afford.

Four million children live in poverty throughout the UK, with one in three children living beneath the poverty line.

Organised by bid co-ordinator, Alyssa Knowles, the team at Galliford try Partnerships has donated over £300 worth of brand new gifts which will be donated to children and young people aged 0-18 years through the North West.

To support the kindness of its staff, Galliford Try Partnerships pledged to contribute an additional one toy for every 10 contributed by staff, as well as making a donation of £100 to the charity.

The Mission Christmas appeal supports Cash for Kids, the largest annual Christmas toy appeal in the UK.

Alyssa said: “This time of year is about giving to those less fortunate and all staff at Galliford Try Partnership quickly got behind Mission Christmas appeal and have been incredibly supportive of this cause.”

“As a company we are passionate about supporting local charities and giving back and we hope these gifts put a smile on the children’s faces this Christmas.
