The service was led by the Rector and the Address on “Hope” was given by The Venerable Roger Preece, Archdeacon of Warrington. Revd. Stewart McTaggart, Curate of St Elphin’s led the prayers.
Seasonal Readings were taken by Chair of the St Rocco’s Trustees, Norman Banner, by the Lord Lieutenant and by Hospice Volunteer, Anita Taylor MBE.
Both before and during the service the congregation were pleased to hear musical contributions from Grappenhall Heys School Choir.
After the service refreshments were served and members of the congregation were able to look at the St Rocco’s Books of Honour in the Regimental Chapel.
