Winter Wonderland sparkles again at Walton Hall

FATHER Christmas will be returning to Warrington to launch this year’s magical Winter Wonderland at Walton Hall and Gardens.

On Friday December 9 at 6.30pm, he will make his grand entrance on the Polar Express to switch on the lights and start up the festive fun in the Heritage Courtyard at Walton Hall, where he’ll take up his weekend winter residence.

Families are invited to bring their children along to the magical event on Friday between 6-9pm.

Winter Wonderland will be open on Saturday 10, Sunday 11, Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 December from 10.30am-4pm.

There will be some great festive activities to enjoy, which include decorating your own yule log and painting pottery decorations. Visitors will also be able to get a feel of the Christmas past in the Heritage Courtyard which will be turned in to a captivating festive scene which will be complete with a polar express ride, a grotto, live music and traditional hot food and refreshments.

Tickets to see Father Christmas are £6 per child and will be on sale each day of the Winter Wonderland which will also include a free gift. Adults and older children can go along with the younger ones into the Grotto, free of charge.

Our popular Winter Wonderland is a magical event for children, made extra special by the arrival of Father Christmas and the lights switch-on. It’s the perfect occasion to get you in the festive spirit. Make sure you come along and see how wonderful it is.”
