House builder announces new appointments

WARRINGTON-based housing and regeneration specialist Galliford Try Partnerships has announced the appointment of a new build manager and two managerial promotions.
Martin Sharkey has joined the company having previously held the position of build manager at Bellway Homes for more than two years.
With over 25 years’ experience in the housing industry, he will be responsible for overseeing the development of sites across the North West.
The company also promoted Gary Bailey, who has worked for them since 2014 on the New Brunswick PFI regeneration project, to build manager for the North West region. He more than 30 years’ housing industry experience managing award winning projects worldwide.
Senior site manager, John Mooney, who joined Galliford Try Partnerships from Countryside Properties in April this year, has also been promoted to build manager. He has more than 15 years’ experience in housing and construction, having previously held roles at Redrow Homes,  Jones Homes and Bramall Construction Ltd.
Brendan Blythe, managing director at Galliford Try Partnerships North West, said: “It’s been a great year the company. We have continued to widen our offering across the North West and we are delighted to have expanded our team further to help us to deliver more new homes across the region. Martin is highly experienced within the housing and regeneration sector and along with Gary and John, will play a significant role in helping us to bring more sites to market in 2017.”
