IT was a busy night for police in Warrington town centre – with drink again a major contributor to the problems.
Five people were arrested in the early hours of the morning for drunk and disorderly in the town centre.
Meanhile a 33-year-old man was arrested at Howley on suspicion of drink driving and a 26-year-old man was arrested at Whitecross on suspicion of assault following a report of domestic violence.
Three people were also arrested following a disturbance at a pub at Fearnhead and a 26-year-old man was arrested at Latchford for an alleged assault following another incident of domestic violence.
Also at Latchford, a 39-year-old man was arrested for alleged harassment
