THE Park Royal Hotel at Stretton has been recognised with a highly commended award in the sought after category of Hotel of the Year at the annual Marketing Cheshire Awards.
This was announced at the 12th Marketing Cheshire Annual Tourism Awards held at a glamorous awards ceremony at Chester Racecourse hosted by former Political Editor of Granada TV and BBC North West, Jim Hancock.
The Awards, attended by nearly 300 tourism representatives, celebrate excellence and outstanding achievement by local businesses and individuals representing the great variety of businesses that contribution to Cheshire’s visitor economy, which was worth £2.6 billion and welcomed over 47 million visitors in 2015.
The Park Royal, who came runners up in the Hotel of the Year category, will now to on to represent Cheshire at the national VisitEngland Awards for Excellence in 2017.

The Grosvenor Hotel at Chester won Hotel of the Year.
