Motorist arrested after road rage assault on cyclist

POLICE arrested a motorist  following a “road rage” incident at Appleton, Warrington.

The male motorist was arrested on Lumb Brook Road, Appleton, following an allegation of assault on a cyclist and criminal damage to his mobile phone.

It is alleged to have followed a ‘road rage’ type incident.

  1. Sadly there are still some motorists who think it is perfectly acceptable and possible to overtake cyclists under Lumb Brook Bridge. This is so dangerous.
