School cake sale raised £160 for cancer charity

YEAR Nine pupils at Helsby High School raised £160 for Cancer Research UK with a cake sale.
The amount raised was a record for a cake sale at the school.
Pupils, parents and staff baked the cakes and also helped run the stall.
In the end, they ran out of cakes!
Cancer Research UK is the world#s leading charity dedicated to beating cancer through research and was chosen by pupils as the school’s charity for the year.
