Public lecture looks at Cheshire’s Police and Crime Plan

The Police and Crime Commissioner for Cheshire will discuss the Police and Crime Plan for the county at a free public lecture at the Warrington Campus of the University of Chester on Monday 14th November.

David Keane was elected to the position in May this year. He studied Criminal Justice before qualifying with a Law degree and has board level experience in the public, private and voluntary sectors.

He has 17 years’ experience as a Councillor and covers the Wards of Penketh and Cuerdley in the Warrington area. David lives in Warrington and is married with a young daughter.

The lecture will be hosted by Geoff Elvey, Head of the Institute of Policing, which is based at the Warrington Campus. It will take place in the Lance Dobson Hall at 6.30pm with refreshments at 6pm.

The lecture is the second in a series of free public lectures taking place this year which demonstrate the importance and strength of local partnerships in the areas of teaching and research at the Warrington Campus – Policing, Health and Social Care, Media, Education, Business and Sport.
