During the summer holidays the 3rd Warrington Scout Group refurbished the Ladies and Gents toilets with new toilets, wash basins and wall tiles.
The activity area at the rear of the Scout Centre has also had a secure fence installed, making it safer for the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts to use the area for games and other activities.
This was made possible by being awarded a generous grant from Awards for All of £10,000 and from the Warrington Borough Council’s Local Area Fund award of £1,000. The group also used funds from their own fund-raising.
Warringston Scout Group wish to thank all the funders funders and contractors who have been exceptional in their giving and their work, and also to the Executive Committee who volunteered their time and effort to co-ordinate the project.
