WARRINGTON Wolves’ young prop Ben Evans will leave the club at the end of the current season.

Wales international Evans, 23, twin brother of centre Rhys, made his first-team debut in February 2014 earning heritage number 1108, making 22 appearances in the primrose and blue.

He joined the Wolves’ academy as a teenager with Rhys, having previously been spotted by the Warrington scouts in 2005 when playing in the schools curtain-raiser to the Challenge Cup final.

Having developed through the Wolves’ academy his professional career to date has also seen him at Bradford Bulls and Leigh Centurions.

His career at Warrington has been hampered by injury.

All at Warrington Wolves have thanked Ben for his services to the club and wish him well in his future career.

Evans said: “I’ve had an amazing time at the club since moving up here with Rhys and would like to thank all the staff and my team mates for the opportunity but for now it’s time to move on.”
